Arcadia historical marker number 11 at the Arcadia Transit Plaza

Arcadia Historical Society Marker Committee members unveiled today Marker #12 at Arcadia’s Transit Center.

The marker or sign, provides a historical perspective of the trains that criss crossed the San Gabriel Valley basin and of course, Lucky Baldwin’s Oakwood Hotel. Missed but mentioned was  Scott Hettrick who played a major role since inception of the History Lives Here project and was involved in establishing ten History Lives Here on markers in various areas throughout the City.
