The Arcadia High School Theatre Department was honored at Santa Anita Park Sunday (Nov. 7).
Some of the cast were in the winners circle on Sunday with the winning jockey of the seventh race. Santa Anita Park has been a longtime supporter of the Theatre Department, which opens its fall play “The 39 Steps” Tuesday, Nov. 15. The Hitchcock movie thriller was turned into a comedy mystery that became the longest-running comedy in the history of Broadway.
Opening night is already sold out but some tickets remain for other shows this week , which can be purchased online at www.arcadiastage.com. Seniors and students with ID are $10, Adults are $15 and VIP tickets are $25. With a VIP seat you get your seat saved for you and you do not have to stand in line to get into the theatre.
