Michael Roberts will share his story of how the divorce of parents, alcohol and drug abuse led him to jumping off a 250 foot cliff, which he survived (details of story below). Roberts has shared his message on radio and the Internet and at schools, businesses, churches, seminars and fundraisers throughout the nation.
For $99, sponsors will be provided exposure with a display table at the July 20 Open House & Fundraiser as well as on thousands of event fliers sent throughout the community and with each pizza delivery of local pizza restaurants. Sponsors may keep any money they generate on their own.
For more information, contact Roberts at 310-890-3348.
Growing up with divorced, alcoholic and abusive parents, Roberts turned to drugs and alcohol at an early age. Alcohol and drugs became his way of life. On Dec 5th, 1985 at the age of 17, he felt as if the only way out was to end his life, so he jumped from a 250-foot cliff and broke many bones. He was flown by helicopter to a hospital where he slipped into a coma and eventually had to learn to walk, talk and write again over the next two years.
