Tzu Chi recognized by Mayor

The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation was recognized by the City of Arcadia last night, Feb. 21, 2012.

During the City Council meeting, Mayor Gary Kovacic read a long list of volunteer efforts by the international group,which included numerous examples of support in the local area.

Nearly 30 members of the group were in attendance and joined Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation CEO Han Huang in accepting the certificate from Mayor Kovacic and posing for a group photograph.
