Taste of Arcadia highlights

The Arcadia Chamber of Commerce‘s annual Taste of Arcadia on Monday (Sept. 24, 2012) was another big success this year, with many of the nearly 1,000 attendees and participants calling the event featuring food and drinks from 40 of the best local restaurants at the Los Angeles County Arboretum on Sept. 24 the best ever.

Among the firsts for the event was a live TV promotion on KTLA Channel 5 (click previous link for complete videos) with a half-dozen reports from the venue during the three-hour morning show from 5 a.m. – 8 a.m.

Other firsts included book signings by many of the Von Trapp family actresses from the 1960s movie “The Sound of Music,” eight new 2013 cars from three local car dealers, a new lively band called Lounge-O-Rama, and 30 tables of local organizations and businesses at a new Business Showcase at the Taste.
