Suspicious Circumstances

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at approximately 4:55 p.m., Arcadia Police Officers

responded to the Arcadia Public Library, located at 20 West Duarte Road, after a patron reported she heard someone say there was a gun in the library. The patron had left the library prior to officers arrival, and no further information was available. The Library was evacuated and officers conducted an exhaustive search of the location, but no gun was found. Library staff made the decision to close the location for the remainder of the day once the on-scene investigation was complete.
