The Church of the Good Shepherd, United Methodist will launch a space-themed Vacation Bible School the week of July 26 – 30 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. for children ages 4 through 5th graders.
Cadets who come aboard Starship Galactic Praise, 400 W. Duarte Road, Arcadia, will spacewalk to the God News Galaxy. Through Bible stories, cadets will learn Praise Phrases and Bible Booster memory verses. Other activities include art projects at Cosmic Crafts, singing new music at Moons & Tunes, exploring science activities at the Orbital Observatory, participating in recreational activities at Rocket Rec, and enjoying tasty snacks at the Astro Bistro.
The Galactic Blast adventure includes learning a new “green” idea each day that will help the cadets be more aware of taking care of the planet God has given to us. Galileo the Green Gorilla will assist in their lessons.
