Route 66 100-Year Anniversary

We received approval from Metro this week to install the 100-Year Anniversary decal on the Route 66 Bridge in Arcadia. On November 11, 2026, Route 66 will officially be 100 years, and a celebratory decal was designed by City staff to celebrate this historic roadway. Installation is planned before the 100-year anniversary and will remain in place for approximately one year. Public Works crews are working with Metro on installation, which shouldn’t require more than a few hours and minimal road disruptions. Community members and travelers can expect to see the decal installed over the next few weeks.
