Senior Classes

Senior classes generated a weekly attendance of 933 students during the week of May 13. Classes include aerobics, ballroom dancing, cardio, hula, line dancing, lip reading, oil painting, pilates, piano, strength training, tai chi, yoga, and watercolors.

Let’s Do Lunch Program

Lunch is served Monday through Friday for only $2 for seniors 55+ and $4 for ages 50- 54. A total of 302 meals were served the week of May 13.

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10am to 1pm. During the week of May 13, the Gift Shop had 47 shoppers and sales of $165.

Weekly Movie

On May 15, Bohemian Rhapsody, was shown to 86 viewers. Current or classic films are shown on a theatre-size screen every Wednesday.

Taste the Town


On Thursday, May 15, participants had lunch at Fork Over Pork Restaurant in Arcadia with a City Council Member.

AARP SMART DriverTEK Workshop

On Thursday, May 16, 78 people attended the AARP SMART DriverTEK workshop to learn about safety technology in new cars.

Bingo and Pizza

On Friday, May 17 the second BINGO and Pizza event of the year took place at the Community Center. Participants played 10 games of Bingo, and had pizza and salad for lunch. There were 87 people in attendance.

Community Center Rentals

On Friday, May 17, Arcadia High School Boys Volleyball had a banquet for 150 people for a fee of $202. On Saturday, May 18, Temple City Sportsmen had a dinner for 230 people for a fee of $702.
