In addition, Orswell has received the endorsements of the former Monterey Park Mayors Betty Chu and Benjamin “Frank” Venti. “Jack Orswell is the best congressional candidate with real solutions and is fiscally responsible. He will represent our community well,” said Ing.

“It is an honor to receive the support of Mayors Ing, Chu and Venti,” Orswell said. “They all share my belief that the people of the 27th Congressional District want a representative who has the real life experience to get the problems solved in Washington. I have the commitment, compassion and courage it takes to be a member in today’s Congress and I appreciate receiving the endorsements of these three prominent community leaders.”

Orswell, a small business owner and former FBI Agent, also has the support of retiring United States Congressman David Dreier, Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich and Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley, among many others. Orswell is opposing Rep. Judy Chu in the November 6th General Election, who currently represents the 32nd Congressional District.
