East Meets West Parent Education Club (EMWPEC) has recently made two donation ($1,000 each) to help California fire victims through the Paradise Rotary Foundation and St. Thomas More Church, Pasadise, California. The funds were raised from its recent 2019 Chinese New Year gala in February.
To promote cross cultural appreciation and exchange, and build a stronger community, EMWPEC will host its annual celebration party – Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Lacy park, San Marino on May 5, 2-5PM. The organization will provide Authentic Mexican food & desserts, Beverage, Entertainment, Mexican Family Games, Raffle Prizes, etc to help celebrate the holiday. Tickets are on sales on www.emwpec.org. $10 for adult, $5 for children (5-8 years old), Free for age under 5. Price at door will be $15.
