The two-hour window that vehicles are restricted from parking on Arcadia streets has been extended by an hour from 2:30 a.m. – 5:30 a.m. effective Jan. 15 (currently 3 a.m. – 5 a.m.).
But the City has made getting a exemption easier by making temporary permits available online, just as annual passes have been. Without a permit, vehicles parked on city streets could receive a parking citation.
Temporary parking permits can be purchased for $3.00 per night from the kiosk located in the Police Department lobby, 250 W. Huntington Drive. Temporary permits may also be purchased on-line for $3.00 per night plus a $1.00 transaction fee, by clicking on the Arcadia website “On-line Services”.
Applications for annual permits may be obtained from the cashier’s office at City Hall located at 240 W. Huntington Drive, or by visiting the city website, Administrative Services – Parking section. Existing annual parking permits may be renewed via mail. The annual permit fee is $84, prorated monthly.
Overnight parking permits only provide exemption for parking on the street during the restricted hours. All other parking laws and restrictions must be followed at all times.
