The updated Hometown Heroes Program has gone live on the City’s website, with two separate pages honoring those who currently serve and those who have retired from the Armed Forces. Here’s something I bet you wouldn’t have guessed: we have a member of the US Space Force in Arcadia! With the establishment of the new webpages, we will be planning for the removal of the plywood sign at City Hall and will be arranging for the flag event on Armed Forces Day next May in accordance with your adopted policy to honor those who serve.
