An 85-year-old woman reported missing earlier today (Saturday, Feb. 12) which sparked the Arcadia Police Department to issue a Missing Person Alert has been found safe.

The family for Emilia Alvarez reported they had found her late this afternoon in Los Angeles sitting at a bus stop. Apparently, Ms. Alvarez went to the area to visit family and became disoriented. Earlier her family reported last seeing her at 12:30 p.m. Friday in her Arcadia apartment in the 700 block of Fairview Avenue, and noted that she has a heart condition and her memory is failing. — By Scott Hettrick
