Masons: 125th party; Tay installed

Arcadia Masonic Lodge No. 278 is having a busy fall & winter. The Lodge recently celebrated its 125th anniversary (video highlights below), and this Saturday will be the annual installation of officers.

During the dinner program Saturday, Jan. 9, at the Masonic Center at 50 W. Duarte Road next to the Arcadia Public Library, Sho Tay will be installed as Master, a post he held before current Master Jim Helms.

California Grand Master Kenneth Nagle made a presentation during a program following dinner at the recent 125th anniversary dinner at the Center. Prior to that, Helms pointed out several recent improvements to the Center, including new carpeting, furniture, and a 46-inch flat screen TV in the lounge, all of which is highlighted in the short video below. The Lodge also recently installed a new, colorful neon sign with digital displays of upcoming events on both sides.
