Lunar New Year celebration

Westfield Santa Anita‘s third annual Lunar New Year celebration of the Year of the Ram proved to be a successful event judging by the hundreds in attendance Sunday afternoon, Feb. 15. The activities, which began with a Chinese dragon dance and many other stage performances continues with Hello Kitty photo opportunities, a Hello Kitty food truck (The Japanese-based Hello Kitty company Sanrio opened a Hello Kitty theme park in China last month on Jan. 1, 2015), arts and crafts, calligraphy, and many exhibitor booths of give-aways, including Longo Toyota, as well as décor throughout the Center, special retailer promotions, and cultural exhibitions from the Chinese American Museum and Japanese American National Museum.
