Whether you’re seeking to find peace of mind, strengthen your body, treat chronic pain, or connect with nature, our Fall-Winter Health & Wellness programs offer a variety of paths for you to reach your destination.
If you’re interested in any of the programs listed below, and would like more information, feel free to call the Education Department at (626) 821-4623. If you have a wellness practice that you’ve benefited from that we do not currently offer, we always appreciate feedback from the community as to how to grow our programs.
Whether feeling trapped in Los Angeles traffic or inundated with information on the Internet, the modern age has produced a growing sense of discontent in many people. Our new Forest Bathing program coaxes its participants to slow down, take a few steps back from the stresses of urban life, and simply absorb the calm of the forest.
Our Forest Bathing program has recently received some love from local and national press, having been featured as the cover story in Pasadena Star News, and soon to be featured on Good Morning America.
“Immerse yourself amongst the trees, and leave mind, body, and soul at ease.”

Mindful meditation is a skill which helps a person find that union of the body, mind and spirit, which is the center of being. Mindful meditation further opens the 5 senses and brings one closer to the practice of self-healing and general wellness. The conscious act of noticing and relishing the sounds, sights and scents of the garden helps one attain the bliss of mindful meditation. Strolling together through the garden can help each individual find a path to inner strength and wellness. This is an active mindful meditation class; comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended.
