LA Arboretum: Handcrafting! – Tempeh

February 9, 10am – 12pm

Tempeh is a delicious new source of protein that people are currently raving about! It is so versatile and easy to work with in the kitchen. Join us this Saturday and learn how to safely ferment tempeh at home using a starter culture. This workshop will showcase the tempeh making process at different stages in the fermentation process, so that you will know what to expect when making tempeh at home. Each participant will sample various styles of tempeh and prepare their own portion of tempeh to take home and ferment.
