The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of October 19 – 25, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types
recorded for this period:

Sunday, October 19
At 2:55 p.m., Engine 105, BLS 106, and Rescue Ambulance 41 responded to a report
of a person not breathing in the 200 block of North Second Avenue. Upon arrival, fire
personnel found one patient with a complaint of overdose. The patient received a
full medical evaluation, intravenous therapy, medications, and was transported to
USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
Monday, October 20
At 8:02 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the intersection
of Cristina Street and Santa Anita Avenue for a reported auto versus pedestrian
traffic collision. Fire personnel arrived to find a 13-year-old male that was riding a
scooter without a helmet and was hit by a passing automobile and sustained
traumatic head and bodily injuries. The patient received intravenous therapy, cardiac
monitoring, blood glucose testing, and was transported to Los Angeles General
Medical Center for further treatment.
Tuesday, October 21
At 10:14 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the 300 block of
Topaz Place for a person down. Fire personnel arrived to find a 95-year-old female
suffering from an altered level of consciousness. The patient received intravenous
therapy, cardiac monitoring, medications, blood glucose testing, and was
transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
Wednesday, October 22
At 9:11 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 102, and Squad 102 responded to a traffic collision
on the eastbound 210 Freeway. Fire personnel arrived to find a solo car and its sole
occupant with minor injuries in the carpool lane. The patient was evaluated and
released on scene.
Thursday, October 23
At 11:36 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 700 block of West Camino Real Avenue. Upon arrival, fire
personnel found a 92-year-old female exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient
received a 12-lead electrocardiogram, blood glucose reading, intravenous therapy,
and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
Friday, October 24
At 7:12 a.m., Truck 105 responded to a report of people trapped inside an elevator
in the 100 block of North Second Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a stalled
elevator car with three occupants inside. Fire personnel gained access to the elevator
control room where the elevator system was reset electronically and were able to
extricate the occupants from the elevator car. The occupants were uninjured and didnot require medical assistance and were released on scene. The elevator car was
placed out-of-service, and the property management company was notified.
Saturday, October 25
At 1:46 a.m., Engine 105 responded to a report of a water leak in the 200 block of
East Live Oak Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel found an active leak from a
sheared fire sprinkler head. The water supply to the system was shut off and water-
vac operations were performed. The manager was notified of the situation.
