The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of November 9 – 15, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types

recorded for this period:

Sunday, November 9

At 4:13 p.m., Truck 105 responded to the intersection of Santa Anita Avenue and Live

Oak Avenue to investigate a reported outdoor chemical and hazardous condition.

Fire personnel arrived to find coolant on the street after an automobile accident.

Absorbent was utilized to dry the liquid product for proper disposal.


Monday, November 10

At 4:57 p.m., Engine 105, Truck 105, BLS 106,

ree

Rescue Ambulance 105, and Battalion 105

responded to a reported traffic collision

around Colorado Boulevard and Renoak Way. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a three-vehicle traffic collision involving four patients.

One patient was suffering from chest pain

following the accident and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.

Arcadia Police Department assisted with

traffic control and removed the vehicles from the roadway.


Tuesday, November 11

At 1:35 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 700 block of Golden West Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel

found a 22-year-old pregnant female in active labor. Once inside the ambulance,

paramedics successfully delivered the baby without incident. The mother and

newborn baby were monitored until arrival at the USC Arcadia Hospital maternity

unit, where hospital staff provided further care.


Wednesday, November 12

At 10:02 a.m., Engine 105 responded to a report of a natural gas leak in the 1400

block of South Tenth Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel found an active gas leak

outside the residence. The gas supply to the house was shut off and Southern

California Gas Company (SoCalGas) was notified. The resident was informed of the

damaged pipe and advised to leave the gas shut off until the area was deemed safe

by SoCalGas.


Thursday, November 13

At 5:00 p.m., USAR 106 was dispatched for pre-deployment in anticipation of the

incoming rainstorm. Together with Pasadena Fire Department, La Verne Fire

Department, and Monrovia Fire Department, Task Force 1217 was formed. During

the pre-deployment, the task force will conduct mudslide mitigation preparations in

the upper foothill areas affected by the Eaton Fire and develop a rescue plan for the

lower foothill areas.


Friday, November 14

At 2:15 p.m., Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and Rescue Ambulance 106

responded to the intersection of Duarte Road and Second Avenue for a traffic

collision. Fire personnel arrived and found a three-vehicle traffic collision involving

four patients. Two patients were transported to USC Arcadia Hospital and the other

two were transported to Huntington Hospital for further treatment.


Saturday, November 15

Engine 107 was dispatched to the 200 block of Monte Place to

investigate a potential mudslide due to the heavy rain, with a significant amount of water and mud coming down from the hillside to the rear of a property. Truck 105 soon arrived with sandbags and fire personnel created multiple barriers to divert water and mud away from the residence to minimize property damage.
