The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of March 22 – 28, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories recorded for this period:

Sunday, March 22
At 8:12 a.m., Engine 106 responded to the 1100 block of South Baldwin Avenue for a
reported outside type of fire. Fire personnel arrived and found a person experiencing
a mental health crisis and lighting his personal effects on fire. The fire was quickly
extinguished, and the individual was taken to a nearby hospital for further care.
Monday, March 23
At 10:25 a.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical
incident in the 800 block of Arcadia Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 62-
year-old female with a chief complaint of stroke-like symptoms. The patient received
a 12-lead electrocardiogram, oxygen and intravenous therapies, and was
transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Tuesday, March 24
At 5:31 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 400 block of Live Oak Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and
found an 81-year-old female with a chief complaint of back pain after a fall. The
patient received a trauma assessment and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital
for further care.
Wednesday, March 25
At 11:53 a.m., Engine 107, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 1800 block of Santa Anita Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and
found a 2-year-old male with a facial laceration after a fall. The patient received a
trauma assessment and was transported to Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles for
further care.
Thursday, March 26
At 5:33 p.m., Engine 106, Engine 37, and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a
reported traffic collision on the eastbound 210 Freeway at Baldwin Avenue. Fire
personnel arrived and found a two-vehicle traffic collision involving three occupants.
No injuries were reported and the scene was released to California Highway Patrol.
Friday, March 27
At 1:49 a.m., Engine 105 responded to an outside type of fire. Fire personnel arrived
and found a large trash fire adjacent to a structure in the 300 block of Live Oak
Avenue. A single handline was utilized to extinguish the fire and there was no damage
to the structure. An arson investigator responded to find the cause as the fire
appeared suspicious in nature.
Saturday, March 28
At 10:37 p.m., Battalion 105, USAR 106, with units from Sierra Madre and Monrovia
Fire Departments responded to a report of a mountain rescue on the Mt. Wilson Trailin Sierra Madre. Fire personnel hiked over a mile of steep terrain to locate two
missing young adults stranded at the bottom of a canyon. After a technical rope
extrication, both hikers underwent medical assessments and were cleared of
injuries.
