The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of March 1 – 7, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories
recorded for this period:

Sunday, March 1
At 12:48 a.m., Engine 107, Rescue Ambulance 105, and Rescue Ambulance 106
responded to a report of a single-car traffic collision at the intersection of Foothill
Boulevard and Leandra Lane. Fire personnel arrived and found a vehicle that had
collided with a power pole involving two patients. Both patients received a trauma
evaluation and were transported to Huntington Hospital Trauma Center for further
care.

Monday, March 2
At 6:25 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to the 300
block of Huntington Drive for a reported trauma victim. Fire personnel arrived and
found a 52-year-old female suffering from a penetrating traumatic injury to the torso.
The patient received a 12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG), blood glucose testing,
intravenous therapy, and was transported to the Huntington Hospital Trauma Center
for further care.
Tuesday, March 3
At 9:35 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to the 600
block of Sunset Avenue for a reported person down. Fire personnel arrived and
found a 92-year-old female feeling weak. The patient received a 12-lead EKG, blood
glucose testing, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital
for further care.
Wednesday, March 4
At 8:32 a.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 300 block of Huntington Drive. Fire personnel arrived and
found a 68-year-old male exhibiting stroke like symptoms. The patient received a 12-
lead EKG, blood glucose reading, intravenous therapy, and was transported to the
USC Arcadia Comprehensive Stroke Center for further care.
Thursday, March 5
At 9:29 a.m., Engine 106, Engine 107, Engine 105, Truck 105, Truck 101, Rescue
Ambulance 106, Los Angeles County Engine 47, Battalion 10, and Battalion 105
responded to a reported house fire in the 2800 block of Holly Avenue. Fire personnel
arrived and found smoke showing from a single-story structure. Engine 106 and
Engine 107 personnel initiated an offensive fire attack, deploying a 1.75-inch
handline to the front of the structure. Battalion 105 arrived on-scene and assumed
Incident Command. Arcadia Police Department arrived on-scene and established
traffic control to ensure a safe working perimeter for fire personnel. Truck 105 was
assigned to the Ventilation Group, Truck 101 was designated as the Rapid
Intervention Crew (RIC)1 , and Rescue Ambulance 106 was assigned to the Medical
Group, providing medical standby for operating personnel and assisting with
secondary support tasks. Multiple fire department agencies established tactical
positions to assist with fire extinguishment. After extinguishing the fire, personnel
conducted an extensive overhaul to secure the scene while investigators began their
origin and cause analysis.

Friday, March 6
At 9:47 a.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 100 block of Las Flores Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and
found a 53-year-old female with an altered level of consciousness after a fall. The
patient received a 12-lead EKG, intravenous and oxygen therapies, and was
transported to Huntington Hospital Trauma Center for further care.
Saturday, March 7
At 2:59 p.m., Battalion 105, USAR 106, and units from Sierra Madre and Pasadena
Fire Departments responded to a report of a mountain rescue on the Mt. Wilson Trail
in Sierra Madre. Fire personnel arrived, carried rescue equipment, and ascended the
steep terrain in search of a reported hiker over the side calling for help. The 65-year-old male hiker suffered a leg injury after a fall down a steep canyon and was extricated via a technical rope rescue. The patient was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
