The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the
week of June 8 – 14, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types recorded
for this period:

Sunday, June 8
At 1:29 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a report
of an auto versus pedestrian collision in the parking lot of 400 South Baldwin Avenue.
Upon arrival, fire personnel found an 86-year-old patient with multi-system
traumatic injuries. The patient received a full medical and trauma evaluation and was
transported to Huntington Hospital for further treatment.
Monday, June 9
At 9:44 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 1700 block of Holly Avenue. Upon arrival, fire personnel found
an 86-year-old female at home with a chief complaint of shortness of breath. The
patient received a full medical evaluation, which included a 12-lead
electrocardiogram (EKG), intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia
Hospital for further treatment.
Tuesday, June 10
At 9:33 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 700 block of West Huntington Drive. Upon arrival, fire
personnel found a 55-year-old female with a chief complaint of syncopal episode.
The patient received a full medical evaluation, which included a 12-lead EKG,
intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further
treatment.
Wednesday, June 11
At 6:05 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to the 600
block of Naomi Avenue for a person down. Fire personnel arrived to find an 82-year-
old female suffering from minor injuries after a fall. The patient received basic life
support evaluation, which included bandaging, and was transported to USC Arcadia
Hospital for further treatment.
Thursday, June 12
At 4:21 p.m., Engine 106 responded to a reported downed powerline in the 2200
block of South Sixth Avenue. Fire personnel arrived to find a communication line that
was across the roadway, but it was not energized. Fire personnel mitigated the
roadway hazard and cleared the scene.
Friday, June 13
At 12:49 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 600 block of West Duarte Road. Upon arrival, fire personnel
found a 21-year-old female with a complaint of a syncopal episode. The patient
received a full medical evaluation, which included a 12-lead EKG, blood glucose
check, intravenous therapy, oxygen, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for
further treatment.
Saturday, June 14
At 8:31 a.m., Engine 107, Truck 105, BLS 106, Rescue Ambulance 105, and Battalion
105 responded to a reported traffic collision near the intersection of Santa Anita
Avenue and the 210 Freeway. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a single-vehicle
traffic collision with moderate driver side damage to the vehicle. The driver of the
vehicle needed extrication, and hydraulic spreading and cutting tools were utilized to
remove the driver’s door from the vehicle. The driver was suffering from back and
chest pain from the accident and was transported to Huntington Hospital for a
trauma evaluation due to the mechanism of injury. The Arcadia Police Department
assisted with traffic control and removed the vehicle from the roadway.
