The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of June 29 – July 5, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types

recorded for this period:

Sunday, June 29

At 10:52 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 106, Engine 102, Truck 105, Truck 101, Rescue

Ambulance 105, and Battalion 105 responded to the 200 block of East Live Oak

Avenue for a reported commercial structure fire. Fire personnel arrived and found a

small electrical fire within the structure. Electrical power to the area was shut down

and the fire was extinguished with a fire extinguisher. No injuries and no structural

damage occurred.

Monday, June 30

At 6:06 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the 100 block of

Bedford Court for a person with an altered level of consciousness. Fire personnel

arrived and found a 43-year-old male describing that he was weak, dizzy, and

suffering from nausea and vomiting. The patient received a 12-lead

electrocardiogram (EKG), intravenous therapy, blood glucose testing, and was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.

Tuesday, July 1

At 4:08 p.m., Engine 107, Engine 105, Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, Battalion

105, and Monrovia Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the

400 block of Alta Vista Road in Monrovia. Upon arrival, fire personnel found a large

dumpster fire toward the rear of the building. The fire was extinguished using a 1¾”

hose with foam, and hand tools were used to ensure complete extinguishment. The

fire was contained to the area of origin and did not cause damage to the structure.

Wednesday, July 2

At 8:13 a.m., Engine 106, Engine 105, Engine 107, Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 105,

Rescue Ambulance 106, Battalion 105, Pasadena Fire Department, Los Angeles

County Fire Department, and Sierra Madre Fire Department responded to a report

of a structure fire in the 1200 block of South Baldwin Avenue. Upon arrival, fire

personnel discovered a fire in a restaurant. Engine 106 was assigned to Division

Alpha with the tactical objective of extinguishment. The fire was contained to the area

of origin, and Investigator 105 was assigned to the fire investigation.

Thursday, July 3

At 10:04 a.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 106, BLS 106, and Battalion 105

responded to a medical incident in the 100 block of East Duarte Road. Upon arrival,

fire personnel found a 26-year-old female with multiple traumatic injuries resulting

from an assault. The patient received a full medical and trauma evaluation, including

a 12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, wound care, and was transported to Huntington

Hospital for further treatment.Friday, July 4

At 8:38 p.m., Engine 107, Truck 105, Battalion 105, Pasadena Fire Department, and

Sierra Madre Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 100

block of Victoria Avenue in Sierra Madre. Upon arrival, fire personnel discovered an

electrical fire in the electrical panel and shut down the breakers to the building. The

fire was contained to the area of origin, and Investigator 41 was assigned to the fire

investigation.

Saturday, July 5

At 1:13 p.m., Engine 105 responded to a reported refuse fire in the 900 block of South

Santa Anita Avene. Fire personnel arrived and found a dumpster fire extending into

nearby vegetation. The fire was quickly extinguished using a hose line. No injuries

and no property damage occurred.
