The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of January 18 – 24, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident types
recorded for this period:

Sunday, January 18
At 12:16 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 105 and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 400 block of South Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel arrived
and found an 89-year-old female with a chief complaint of syncope. The patient
received a 12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG), oxygen, intravenous therapy and was
transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Monday, January 19
At 11:48 p.m., Engine 107 responded to a reported odor investigation in the 200 block
of Carolwood Drive. Fire personnel arrived and found strong smell of a skunk. The
resident was concerned about her safety, and fire personnel utilized atmospheric
monitoring devices to assure there was no environmental or health hazard.
Tuesday, January 20
At 12:38 a.m., Engine 105 and Engine 102 responded to a reported outside fire. Fire
personnel arrived and found a small vegetation fire. The fire was quickly knocked
down by utilizing a single hose line. No property damage and no injuries occurred.
Wednesday, January 21
At 11:04 p.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical
incident in the 1000 block of Asder Lane. Fire personnel arrived and found a 90-year-
old male with a complaint of altered mental status. The patient received a 12-lead
EKG, blood glucose check, intravenous therapy and was transported to USC Arcadia
Hospital for further care.
Thursday, January 22
At 6:39 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106 and BLS 106 responded to a medical
incident in the 1600 block of South Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found
an 80-year-old male with a complaint of difficulty breathing and a low heart rate. The
patient received a 12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, oxygen and was transported to
USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Friday, January 23
At 7:14 p.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 200 block of West Foothill Boulevard. Fire personnel arrived and found a 79-
year-old female with a chief complaint of syncope. The patient received a 12-lead
EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for
further care.
Saturday, January 24
At 10:47 a.m., Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 105 and BLS 106 responded to a medical
incident in the 100 block of East Huntington Drive. Fire personnel arrived and found
a 90-year-old female with a chief complaint of blunt facial trauma from a fall. Thepatient received a 12-lead EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy and was transported to
USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
