Fire Department Weekly Report - week of February 15 – 21, 2026

The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the

week of February 15 – 21, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories

recorded for this period:





Sunday, February 15

At 3:22 p.m., Engine 102 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident

in the 600 block of Huntington Drive in Monrovia. Fire personnel arrived and found

a 57-year-old male exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient received a 12-lead

electrocardiogram (EKG), blood glucose check, intravenous therapy, and was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital.


Monday, February 16

At 2:13 p.m., Engine 105, Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, Battalion 105, and units

from Monrovia Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire in the 400

block of Cypress Avenue in Monrovia. Truck 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 were

assigned as the Rapid Intervention Group, while Engine 105 was assigned to protect

the adjacent structure. Battalion 105 assumed the role of Incident Safety Officer. The

fire was successfully contained to the room of origin, and all Arcadia fire personnel

were released from the incident.


Tuesday, February 17

At 11:46 a.m., Battalion 105, Truck 105, Engine 107, USAR

106, Rescue Ambulance 105, Rescue Ambulance 106, BLS

106, and neighboring agencies responded to a report of a

motor vehicle accident with vehicles over the side of the

210 Freeway at Santa Anita Avenue. Fire personnel arrived

and found two vehicles in the embankment and three

patients needing care. All patients received a trauma

evaluation and were transported to USC Arcadia Hospital

and Huntington Hospital for further care.


Wednesday, February 18

At 12:15 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and Battalion 105 responded to

the 100 block of Magna Vista Avenue for a reported person down. Fire personnel

arrived and found a 60-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive. The patient

received a 12-lead EKG, blood glucose testing, intravenous therapy, and was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.


Thursday, February 19

At 9:22 p.m., Truck 105 responded to a large commercial fire in the 100 block of

Whittier Drive in Montebello. Fire personnel arrived and shut down all utilities to the

building due to electrical power lines burning and arcing inside the structure. A

ladder pipe operation was used to hold the fire from extending to additional units

and exposed buildings.


Friday, February 20

At 7:46 p.m., Truck 105 responded to a report of occupants trapped inside an

elevator in the 00 block of Huntington Drive. Fire personnel arrived and found a

stalled elevator car with one occupant inside. The elevator car was reset

electronically and allowed the occupant to exit without incident. The occupant did

not require medical assistance and was released on scene. A repair technician

arrived to troubleshoot the problem and for repair. The elevator car was placed out-

of-service, and the property management company was notified.


Saturday, February 21

At 8:57 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 400 block of Huntington Drive. Fire personnel arrived and

found a 68-year-old male with a chief complaint of chest pain. The patient received a

12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, cardiac medications, and was transported to USC

Arcadia Hospital for further care.
