The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of December 7 – 13, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types
recorded for this period:

Sunday, December 7
At 2:18 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 600 block of West Huntington Drive. Fire personnel arrived
and found a 95-year-old female with a chief complaint of difficulty breathing and
dangerously low blood pressure. The patient received a 12-lead electrocardiogram
(EKG), intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further
treatment.
Monday, December 8
At 8:07 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical incident
in the 700 block of West Camino Real Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found an
83-year-old female experiencing difficulty breathing. The patient received a 12-lead
EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for
further treatment.
Tuesday, December 9
At 2:52 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical incident
in the 200 block of Oakhurst Lane. Fire personnel arrived and found a 72-year-old
male with a complaint of a focal seizure. The patient received an EKG, blood glucose
check, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
Wednesday, December 10
At 4:38 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 600 block of South Sunset Boulevard. Fire personnel arrived
and found a 94-year-old male exhibiting stroke symptoms. The patient received a 12-
lead EKG, blood glucose check, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC
Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
Thursday, December 11
At 4:41 p.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a report
of a vehicle versus pedestrian incident in the 200 block of West Huntington Drive.
Fire personnel arrived and found a 52-year-old male with traumatic injuries after
being struck by a vehicle traveling about 5-10 miles per hour. The patient received a
12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, and was transported to Huntington Hospital for
further treatment.
Friday, December 12
At 4:03 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 1600 block of South Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel arrived
and found a 61-year-old male with a chief complaint of dangerously low blood
pressure. The patient received a 12-lead EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy, and was
transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
Saturday, December 13
At 5:01 a.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 2500 block of South Fourth Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 79-
year-old male with a chief complaint of syncope with hypotension. The patient
received a 12-lead EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC
Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
