The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of December 21 – 27, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types
recorded for this period:

Sunday, December 21
At 5:43 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to the 600 block of
Las Tunas Drive for a report of an agitated person. Fire personnel arrived and found
a 61-year-old male experiencing a mental health crisis. The patient received
intravenous therapy, cardiac monitoring, blood glucose testing, medications, and
was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Monday, December 22
At 1:34 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 700 block of West Huntington Drive. Fire personnel arrived and found a 59-
year-old female with a chief complaint of chest pain and dyspnea. The patient
received a 12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG), intravenous therapy, aspirin and
nitroglycerin, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Tuesday, December 23
At 11:25 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 500 block of Las Tunas Drive. Fire personnel arrived and
found a 27-month-old female with a complaint of febrile seizure. The patient received
a 12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, blood glucose check, and was transported to Los
Angeles General Medical Center for further care.
Wednesday, December 24
At 2:19 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 600 block of Sunset Boulevard. Fire personnel arrived and
found a 70-year-old female with a complaint of general weakness. The patient
received a 12-lead EKG, intravenous therapy, blood glucose check, fluid challenge,
and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Thursday, December 25
At 10:17 a.m., Engine 107, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 1000 block of Don Diablo Drive. Fire personnel arrived and
found a 91-year-old male with a chief complaint of difficulty breathing. The patient
received a 12-lead EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC
Arcadia Hospital for further care.
Friday, December 26
At 9:11 a.m., Engine 107, Engine 105, Engine 41, Truck 105, Truck 101, Rescue
Ambulance 105, and Battalion 105 responded to the 1400 block of Rodeo Road for a
reported residential structure fire. Fire personnel arrived and found a large two-story
home with light smoke on the second floor. The structure was evacuated and
investigation revealed a small electrical fire. The power to the area was shut down
and the malfunctioning device was extinguished. No injuries and no structural
damage occurred during this incident.
Saturday, December 27
At 7:52 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 106, Engine 102, Truck 105, Truck 101, Rescue
Ambulance 105, and Battalion 105 responded to the 2400 block of Second Avenue
for a reported residential structure fire. Fire personnel arrived and found a single-
story home with light smoke in the rear. Upon investigation, fire personnel found a
fire inside of a chimney producing heavy volumes of smoke that resulted from years
of carbon build-up. The fire was extinguished and the homeowner was instructed
not to use the chimney until proper cleaning and maintenance was completed. No
injuries and no structural damage occurred.
