The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of December 14 – 20, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types
recorded for this period:

Sunday, December 14
At 4:05 p.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 106, and BLS 106 responded to the 600
block of Duarte Road. Fire personnel arrived and found a 92-year-old female
suffering from sepsis. The patient received intravenous therapy, cardiac monitoring,
blood glucose testing, medications, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for
further treatment.
Monday, December 15
At 7:47 p.m., Engine 105 responded to the 11900 block of Clark Street for a fire alarm
activation. Fire personnel arrived and found a large warehouse with smoke showing
from multiple sides of the structure. Additional units responded to investigate and
support operational needs. Upon investigation, it was found the smoke was
generated by a smoke-producing unit to deter burglars. The system was shut down,
the building was ventilated to remove the smoke, and the structure was released to
the building owner.
Tuesday, December 16
At 11:34 a.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical
incident in the 300 block of North Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found
a 67-year-old female with a chief complaint of a chest pain. The patient received a
12-lead electrocardiogram (EKG), intravenous therapy, cardiac medications, and was
transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
Wednesday, December 17
At 12:34 p.m., Engine 106, Truck 105, BLS 106, Battalion 105, and Rescue Ambulance
105 responded to a report of a traffic collision with people trapped at the intersection
of South Baldwin Avenue and West Norman Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and
found a three-vehicle collision involving three patients with one person trapped
inside a vehicle. Two patients suffered minor injuries and refused further treatment.
The third person was safely extricated from the vehicle but complained of neck and
back pain from the collision. This patient received a 12-lead EKG and was transported
to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment. The Arcadia Police Department
provided traffic control and assisted with removal of the vehicles from the roadway.
Thursday, December 18
At 4:45 p.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident
in the 100 block of North First Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 63-year-
old female with a chief complaint of difficulty breathing. The patient received a 12-
lead EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy, and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital
for further treatment.
Friday, December 19
At 11:27 a.m., Engine 106, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a
medical incident in the 1600 block of South Third Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and
found an 86-year-old male with a chief complaint of stroke-like symptoms. The
patient received a 12-lead EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy, and was transported to
USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.
Saturday, December 20
At 2:15 p.m., Engine 106 responded to a report of smoke in the area. Fire personnel
arrived and found an electrical vault emitting white smoke. The area was isolated due
to a potential explosion hazard, and Southern California Edison was requested to
assist in deenergizing the electrical power to the vault. No injuries and no property
damage occurred.
