The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the
week of September 14 – 20, 2025. The following is a breakdown of incident types
recorded for this period:

Sunday, September 14
OES Engine 1613 is assigned, and has been deployed for over 20 days, along with a
task force to Division Tango on the Garnet Incident (near the Fresno area) and is
mapped at approximately 60,000 acres. Our fire personnel have been assigned to
suppression repair.

Monday, September 15
At 11:43 a.m., Engine 105, Engine 102, and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the
west bound 210 Freeway for a traffic collision. Fire personnel arrived and found a
two-vehicle collision involving two occupants. Both occupants denied evaluation,
treatment, and transport. The scene was released to California Highway Patrol.
Tuesday, September 16
At 8:44 a.m., Engine 106, Engine 105, Engine 107, Truck 105, Truck 32, Rescue
Ambulance 106, and Battalion 105 responded to a reported multi-unit dwelling fire.
Fire personnel arrived and found a three-story condominium complex with light
smoke showing to the rear and forced entry into the home and found a small kitchen
fire. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries and no structural damage
occurred.
Wednesday, September 17
At 7:06 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to the 200 block of
West Huntington Drive for a reported leg injury. Fire personnel arrived and found a
victim of a crushing incident. The victim self-extricated; however, was suffering from
severe trauma to the lower extremities. The patient received intravenous therapy,
cardiac monitoring, blood glucose testing, medications, and was transported to
Huntington Hospital for further treatment.
Thursday, September 18
At 2:01 p.m., Engine 106 responded to the 600 block of Las Tunas Drive for a reported
outdoor vegetation fire. Fire personnel arrived and found an illegal uncontained fire
started by an individual experiencing homelessness. The fire was extinguishedwithout extension or property damage, and the person was left in custody of law
enforcement for further questioning.
Friday, September 19
At 4:52 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to an auto versus
motorcycle collision on the west bound 210 Freeway at Baldwin Avenue. Upon arrival,
fire personnel found a 20-year-old female who had collided with a vehicle and
sustained multi-system traumatic injuries. The patient received a full trauma
evaluation and was transported to Huntington Hospital.
Saturday, September 20
At 10:03 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the 700 block of
North Santa Anita Avenue for a reported traffic collision. Fire personnel arrived and
found a cyclist down with severe abrasions. The patient received advanced life
support protocols and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital.
