Fire Department Weekly Report - February 1 – 7, 2026

The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the week of February 1 – 7, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories

recorded for this period:






Sunday, February 1

At 1:19 p.m., Engine 105, Engine 106, Engine 107, Truck 105, Truck 101, Rescue

Ambulance 106 and Battalion 105 responded to the 500 block of Huntington Drive

for a reported multi-family structure fire. Fire personnel arrived and found smoke

emitting from a single unit and determined the cause to be food burning on the

stove. One occupant was found sleeping within the heavily smoke-filled unit and was

quickly evacuated. The patient was evaluated and released after denying further

care, and the smoke was removed by utilizing positive pressure ventilation. No fire

extension or damage occurred.

Monday, February 2

At 11:11 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical

incident in the 1600 block of Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 78-

year-old male with a complaint of a syncopal episode. The patient received a 12-lead

electrocardiogram (EKG), intravenous therapy and was transported to USC Arcadia

Hospital for further care.

Tuesday, February 3

At 6:49 p.m., Truck 105, Rescue Ambulance 106 and BLS 106 responded to a medical

incident in the 00 block of Live Oak Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and found a 31-

year-old male with a complaint of altered mental status. The patient received a 12-

lead EKG, blood glucose check, intravenous therapy and was transported to USC

Arcadia Hospital for further care.

Wednesday, February 4

At 5:39 p.m., Battalion 105, USAR 106, Truck 105, Engine 105, Engine 106, Engine 107,

Rescue Ambulance 105 and BLS 106 responded to a physical rescue in the 600 block

of Live Oak Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and were led by the reporting party to a

53-year-old male trapped up to his waist in mud and water. The patient was safely

extricated and was transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.

Thursday, February 5

At 11:17 a.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 106 and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident in the 700 block of Norman Avenue. Fire personnel arrived and

found a 77-year-old male with a chief complaint of stroke-like symptoms. The patient

received a 12-lead EKG, oxygen, intravenous therapy and was transported to USC

Arcadia Hospital for further care.

Friday, February 6

At 1:24 p.m., Engine 107 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the 600 block of

Santa Maria Road for a reported person down. Fire personnel arrived and found a

15-year-old male in pain after a fall from a motorized scooter. The patient was

transported to USC Arcadia Hospital for further care.Saturday, February 7

At 8:12 a.m., Engine 107, Rescue Ambulance 105 and BLS 106 responded to the 100

block of Orange Grove Avenue for a 70-year-old male that collapsed. Fire personnel

arrived and found the patient down from a medical episode. The patient received a

12-lead EKG, blood glucose testing, intravenous therapy and was transported to USC

Arcadia Hospital for further care.
