Exxon now World at $2.95

Gas prices have fallen again since the post-holiday surge by as much as 10-cents at one station and down to as low as $2.91 at another. Raj, owner of the former Exxon station, says Exxon had to get out of the retail business (Mobil is next, he says), so, since there are already too many Arco and 76 stations in town and a Shell going in across the street with the new 7-Eleven store, his choices were to switch to Valero or start his non-franchise. He chose the latter. He will still offer Exxon gas for the most part, though he is not bound to do so if he can find a better price from time-to-time.
