East Meets West Parent Education Club (EMWPEC) will sponsor its anniversary international potluck luncheon party on May 19, 11:30am-2:00pm, at San Marino Community Church (1750 Virginia Road). With a focus on cultural diversity and appreciation, Mrs. Ivy Sun, the Congressional Woman of the year 2017 and the club’s educational advisor, will speak on the importance of cultural awareness. EMWPEC welcomes San Gabriel Valley and local residents to participate in this annual potluck by bringing a food dish to share and enjoy delicious international and ethnic foods and drinks, along with live music, performed by awarding winning musicians.
