Dewey Butler’s Corn Stand
This popular vegetable stand (circa 1920 – 1930) was located in the proximity of the Baldwin home’s East Gate. Mr. Butler’s leased land from Anita Baldwin and his corn field was located where today’s Arboretum summer concerts are held. The Butler family was actively involved in community affairs, and were considered “prominent” citizens.
