Derby’s Secretariat Week

With the opening of the new Disney movie “Secretariat” Friday, Oct. 8, The Derby Restaurant, 233 East Huntington Dr. Arcadia, is hosting “Secretariat Week” from Oct. 5-10.

Different activities are scheduled for each night, such as a casino night, Dewar’s Scotch night, and a chance to enjoy a five-course meal with with renowned equine artist Fred Stone and top jockeys such as the rider of undefeated Zenyatta, Mike Smith. Stone’s new book, Reflections on a Golden Age, the Art of Fred Stone (right), will be autographed by Stone and the jockeys.
