Baldwin Avenue and Duarte Road in 1923

The Ericsson’s Pharmacy, located on the southwest corner of two busy streets in the West Arcadia business district, was the hub of activity for folks living in the western section part of Arcadia. This was the only drug store in the area, and its pharmacist was well liked.  In the photo, the West Arcadia Public Market is located next to the pharmacy building.
