Assistance League of Arcadia (ALA) is looking for new volunteer members, local residents who share the commitment of making a difference in our community. Assistance League of Arcadia, established in 1954 and one of 122 chapters of the National Assistance League, serves the communities throughout the San Gabriel Valley, including Arcadia, Monrovia, Duarte, Temple City, Alhambra, and Rosemead.

Every year ALA members serve the needs of more than 14,500 members of the community, and every year we look for more dedicated volunteers to join our ranks. We provide programs such as Operation School Bell that make it possible for school children to concentrate on academics rather than lack of proper clothing and supplies; for seniors and visually impaired, the opportunity to gather and socialize; and for new mothers to receive much needed supplies and clothing for their newborns.

To learn more about Assistance League of Arcadia please visit our website at www.alarcadia.org or call the Assistance League of Arcadia Chapter House (100 S. Santa Anita Ave.) at 626-446-7605.
