Neighborhood “Pocket Parks” were also Past Recreation Director John Panatier’s idea. Today Arcadia has numerous such parks throughout the city. How many have you visited? The Arcadia Friendship Park? Forest Avenue Park? Perhaps, Fairview Avenue Park? The Arcadia Recreation Department in its Guide to Public Parks & Recreation Facilities lists 25 facilities. How lucky can Arcadians be!
