The Arcadia Chinese Association was recognized late last month by Congresswoman Judy Chu with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition for outstanding non-profit organization.
Just days earlier the Congresswoman welcomed ACA President Joanna Liang back for a second consecutive term at the ACA’s annual Get to Know You / Installation program July 19 at the Arcadia Community Center.
In addition to Chu, among the other dignitaries presenting Liang with certificates of gratitude for her first year as President were Mayor Pro Tem John Wuo, Senator Dr. Ed Hernandez, Assemblymember Ed Chau, a representative from the office County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, and Library and Museum Services Director Mary Beth Hayes.

The presentations followed a light buffet and preceded the induction of Liang and all new board members and officers. Board members Aaron Rose and Jamie Lee hosted the proceedings which later included a presentation of images from the past year and performances by members of the ACA and others. ACA.
