Harold Koopowitz on ‘A Visit to Northern Thailand and its Flowers.

Harold Koopowitz is a biologist and botanist who has traveled the world in search of plants and their habitats, and to learn how to conserve them. He has been a professor at the University of California at Irvine, authored several books, articles, and research papers, and has hybridized new varieties of orchids and daffodils. He specializes in conservation of biodiversity and is interested in many flowering plants including a wide range of bulbs, succulents, daffodils, clivia, and orchids. Join us as he shares his experiences visiting northern Thailand and shows us the flowers he encountered there.
