626 Night Market July 6-7

Free parking and admission of only $2 or $3 to the second 626 Night Market of the summer at Santa Anita Park horse race track in the Paddock Gardens in front of the grandstand on Saturday July 6  (4 p.m. – 1 a.m.) & July 7 (4 p.m. – 11 p.m.). Admission is $2 until 6 p.m and $3 thereafter. Free for children 12 and younger.

About 35,000 people attended the 626 Night Market on June 8-9, officials told ArcadiasBest.com. The third and final market of the summer is scheduled for Aug. 3 & 4.

Santa Anita’s Paddock Gardens will be transformed to accommodate the largest Asian night market in the U.S., featuring over 90 food vendors serving hundreds of Asian street foods, 70 local merchandise vendors, and beer & spirits. There will be several entertainment areas with bands, performance artists, live DJ’s, dancing, short films, and children’s activities. The 626 Night Market showcases these small businesses and talented entertainers to an estimated crowd of 40,000 people per event.

The new Paddock Gardens location will provide a dramatic environment for the continued evolution of L.A.’s premier Asian night market. Customers will now be able to enjoy cold beer and spirits on hot summer nights at Santa Anita’s expansive Sironas terrace bar that overlooks the night market in the garden. There will be a main stage in the middle of the Paddock Gardens for live performances with giant video boards for everyone to enjoy. More food, retail vendors, and entertainment will be located in a long alley right outside of the Paddock Gardens area. This one-of-a-kind paddock location provides customers with easy access to the event with parking entrances right off of Huntington Drive. “We’ve assembled a diverse collection of local vendors, activities, and entertainment for our summer night market series with new foods and products from entrepreneurs hoping to get exposure,” says Jonny C. Hwang founder of the 626 Night Market. “We would love for these events to become a summer tradition for the local communities.”

The 626 Night Market is accepting vendor and performance artist applications for upcoming events. MINI has signed on as a Platinum Partner to highlight their fresh line of MINI Coopers and promote their new Monrovia showroom opening in July. Nielson Ratings is joining as a Gold Partner to present a series of international and local short films at the events. East West Bank returns as an Entertainment Stage partner.
