If you’d like some help navigating the Social Security Administration Website, the City of Arcadia Recreation & Community Services Department in partnership with the SSA will hold a free seminar for adults 50 years of age and older from 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22 at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive.
A representative from the SSA will discuss the “E-Services” or online enrollment and access to your social security account information. In this workshop, participants will be able to: – Apply for social security – Check spouse or disability benefits – Estimate your retirement benefits – Request a Medicare replacement card and apply for “extra help” with the prescription drug program – Receive information on how to read your social security statement – Sign up to receive updates on social security via e-mail All workshop participants will receive an online retirement planning CD and printed materials, compliments of the Social Security Administration
