Segal among “50 Fabulous Women”

Lee Segal is one of “50 Fabulous Women” in today’s edition of THE Magazine of Pasadena. Three of Segal’s skills and services noted in the magazine’s recognition have been on display this month. Relying on her Cal Poly Pomona degree in food and nutrition, she prepared 50 pounds of beef brisquit for Thursday’s 80th Anniversary celebration of the Arcadia Welfare & Thrift Shop on First Avenue, where she is a volunteer board member and has been chairman of the organization’s annual White Christmas charity service.

Segal is also on the Arcadia Museum Commission, for which she has coordinated with the Arcadia  Chamber of Commerce to hold a business mixer from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, to help draw more awareness to the museum. Segal is also pictured with Arcadia City Councilman husband Mickey Segal as the Chamber’s Citizens of the Year on the Arcadia Historical Society’s “History Lives Here” historical marker in front of the Chamber office at 388 W. Huntington Drive.

THE Magazine’s 50 Fabulous Women Event honoring all 50 women for their generous community support, philanthropic efforts, excellence in business and commitment to their families will be held 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday, May 31.
