The Los Angeles County Fire Department will be conducting a prescribed burn in the Bradbury-Duarte area, at Spinks Canyon, on February 19 - 20, 2024. Burning is set to begin at 8 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. each day.
This pile burn aims to reduce excess fuel from recent brush abatement in the Spinks Canyon area. During this process, the community can expect visible smoke at the base of the foothills in the cities of Bradbury and Duarte and in the surrounding areas.
