Retired Arcadia resident Vince Foley provides a hands-on demonstration and explanation of the myriad valuable services the Volunteers in Police Support provide, from house checks for people on vacation to checking for cars illegally parked in handicapped spaces and much more. As you go on the ride-along in the videos below, you’ll also see how VIPS can get caught up in police chases with helicopters, and deal with semi-trucks that stop and park in the middle of a street. — By Scott Hettrick
