Musical Presentation “Songs from 1900’s to 1967”

Arcadia Senior Services will be having a musical presentation provided by Timeless Melodies Foundation for Education on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 1:15pm. Musical Historian, Larry Maurer, will focus on songs dating back to the 1900’s that are considered the most thoroughly enjoyable songs of the Great American Songbook. Larry will discuss songs by Irving Berlin, George Cohan, songs from Broadway musicals and much more. There will be twelve songs with lyrics for a group “sing-a-long”. This presentation will be held at the Arcadia Community Center, 365 Campus Drive, Arcadia. The cost is $3. Please call Arcadia Senior Services at 626.574.5130 for additional information.
