On Thursday, October 22, 2026, at about 11:00 a.m., Arcadia Police Officers responded to the 800 block of West Huntington Drive regarding a disturbance. The caller advised a man was inside the residence and fired a gun. When officers arrived, the man had fled the scene, and officers discovered a juvenile female suffering from a gunshot wound. The female was pronounced deceased. The name of the victim is being withheld at this time.

The case is currently under investigation and is being handled by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Homicide Division.
