Starting January 13, 2018, the Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage will be hosting a major exhibit focusing on the rancho owners of Santa Anita from 1841 to 1903.
Arcadia and surrounding lands were owned by many men after the Mission era ended and before Arcadia became a city, beginning with a Scot named Hugo Reid and ending with a Midwesterner named Elias J. Baldwin. Learn the fascinating stories behind the famous and not-so-famous landowners of this part of the San Gabriel Valley. The exhibit will run through March 31, 2018.
