The price of a gallon of regular gas topped $4 for the first time since 2008 when prices hit an all-time high of $4.65 in July of that year. With an average of $3.96 statewide, California gas prices have surpassed Hawai’i and Alaska, something seldom seen. Prices in Arcadia have been climbing at an alarming rate of 15-cents to 20-cents per week in some cases for the last several weeks.
