Fire Department Weekly Report - week of July 19 – 25, 2026

The Arcadia Fire Department responded to a variety of emergency calls during the

week of July 19 – 25, 2026. The following is a breakdown of incident categories

recorded for this period:

Sunday, July 19

At 10:28 p.m., Engine 106 responded to the area of Hungate Lane and Fairview

Avenue for an odor investigation. Firefighters arrived to find a smell of fuel which led

them to find gasoline in the curb and gutter area. Firefighters utilized absorbent to

contain the spill. Los Angeles County Health Hazardous Materials Team was called

for assistance. All atmospheric readings in the area were found to be within safe

limits, Arcadia Public Works crews also responded to assist with clean up and

disposal of the absorbent and products collected.

Monday, July 20

At 11:03 a.m., Engine 105, Rescue Ambulance 105, and BLS 106 responded to a

medical incident near the 00 block of Bonita Street. Upon arrival, Engine 105 and

Rescue Ambulance 105 found a 79-year-old female with a complaint of altered

mental status. Paramedics performed a series of tests on the patient and were

unable to identify the etiology of the altered mental status. Fire personnel obtained

a twelve-lead electrocardiogram, blood glucose check, intravenous access, and

Rescue Ambulance 105 transported the patient to USC Arcadia Hospital for further

treatment.

Tuesday, July 21

At 8:34 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to a medical incident

near the 600 block of West Duarte Road. Upon arrival, Engine 106 and Rescue

Ambulance 106 found a 65-year-old male with a complaint of a syncopal episode and

dizziness. Fire personnel performed a full medical evaluation which included a

twelve-lead electrocardiogram, blood glucose check, and a complete set of vital signs.

Paramedics obtained intravenous access, administered oxygen, and transported the

patient to USC Arcadia Hospital for further treatment.

Wednesday, July 22

At 12:36 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 106 were dispatched to a medical

incident at the 1400 block of Baldwin Avenue. Upon arrival, Engine 106 and Rescue

Ambulance 106 found a 52-year-old male that had a complaint of general weakness.

Fire personnel performed a full medical evaluation which included a twelve-lead

electrocardiogram, intravenous therapy, and a complete set of vital signs. Rescue

Ambulance 106 transported the patient to USC Arcadia Hospital for an evaluation.

Thursday, July 23

At 5:24 p.m., Engine 106 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to a medical incident

at the 400 block of Baldwin Avenue. Fire personnel found a 30-year-old male

experiencing an overdose of drugs. A full medical evaluation was performed,

including twelve lead electrocardiogram, oxygen, and IV therapies. Advanced life

support interventions were utilized to improve the patient’s condition. The patient

was transported by Rescue Ambulance 105 to USC Arcadia Hospital for further

evaluation.

Friday, July 24

At 2:18 p.m., Engine 106, Engine 37 and Rescue Ambulance 106 responded to the

Eastbound 210 Freeway at Santa Anita Avenue for a single vehicle traffic accident.

Firefighters arrived to find one vehicle and a 42-year-old male driver unconscious

and unresponsive experiencing seizure activity. Paramedics arrived and initiated

advanced life support protocols including, twelve-lead electrocardiogram, blood

glucose testing, intravenous access, medications, and transport to USC Arcadia

Hospital.

Saturday, July 25

At 7:06 a.m., Engine 105 and Rescue Ambulance 105 responded to the 400 block of

South Santa Anita Avenue for a reported assault victim. Firefighters arrived to find a

38-year-old male with multiple stab wounds on his upper extremities. Paramedics

arrived and initiated advanced life support protocols including, management of

hypovolemic shock, bandaging, twelve-lead electrocardiogram, blood glucose

testing, intravenous access, and transport to Huntington Hospital.
